The CVFL is very excited about our upcoming football season and the prospect of having you become one of our new sponsors or continue as an existing sponsor. The following pages list what we do with sponsorship donations and describe our involvement with children, schools, charities and the local community, as well as our teams’ off-the-field success. Please contact CVFL for an official Sponsorship Package and Sponsorship Form.

Building Community Relationships
The CVFL prides itself on creating maintaining relationships with the local community and working with kids. The following are some of the major accomplishments that the CVFL have made in its first season in existance. Our plan for 2009 to gain enough sponsorships to allow us to further excel in this area through charitable donations and community events.

• Valley Children’s Hospital: Players and coaches from our team visit the kids at
least twice a year, visiting with the kids and handing out gifts.
• CVFL Youth Football –We have created a CVFL Youth Football League so our youth can develop a close relationship with their mentor adult CVFL team.
• California PAL (Police Activities League): We have formed a partnership with this youth athletic program to help prevent juvenile delinquency and gang involvement.
• Orosi High School Sports: The CVFL began eliciting volunteers to help this extremely impovished school to renovate their football stadium so that the kids could continue the tradition of football at their school.

Sponsorship and Donation Policies and Usage
The CVFL accept sponsorship donations from all types and sizes of business, large and small. We are a registered 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization (ID: CORP2872810).
We also accept sponsorship donations in the form of services such as CVFL team merchandise (hats, shirts, decals, etc.), printing services, banner creation, radio ads and
football equipment, as well as medical training equipment and staff services. All of our current coaches, team assistants and training staff members work for us on a volunteer
basis. The sponsorship donations are used to build the organization and pay team expenses as follows:
• Pay league and game fees: Fees are required to participate in
the various football leagues and each game requires fees to
pay for the referees and sometimes other game related
expenses
• Rent practice and game facilities including fields, locker
rooms, security, janitors, and lights for night games, etc.
• Promote youth organizations and high school athletes for
exceptional performances and academic achievement
• Purchase medical training equipment and supplies
• Pay team travel expenses
• Purchase football equipment
• Purchase CVFL team/league merchandise including hats, jackets,
shirts, sweat shirts, etc. to be used by the team players
and staff, sold from our Website and at our games and given
away at special events and promotions
• Purchase league and sponsor banners and signs
• Pay for printing and design services for league programs,
posters, fliers and other CVFL marketing collateral
• Help build our world class Web presence
• Make charitable donations to various organizations

Sponsorship Proposal
To Central Valley Football League Sponsors:
The Central Valley Football League is currently seeking sponsorships for the upcoming 2009 Central Valley Football League (CVFL) football season which starts on March 1, 2009.  The CVFL is a is recognized as a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible. Within one year, our teams and league have gained national and international recognition through our success on the field, our success as an organization, and our commitment to the local community. In 2008 we currently had 14 teams ranging from Bakersfield to the Bay area.  Our goal for 2009 is to obtain the corporate sponsorships that will enable us to fulfill our quest to have a CVFL team receive a  National Championship. In addition, our partnership with the most prestigious Mexican Minor League Football organization allows the CVFL all-stars to play a yearly event in Mexico City as well as host the top minor league Mexican Football Team in Fresno, California.

In its inaugural season, the CVFL was recognized for three National awards. “ 2007 Best New League”, “2007 Commissioner of the Year” (Jeff King, CVFL) and “2007 Comeback Team of the Year” (Clovis Wolves). –Minor League Football News.

The CVFL's goal is to create a mentorship between CVFL teams and its community youth. The goal of the partnership is to help fight the street gang epidemic that is sweeping the Central Valley. Because participation in organized sports is one of biggest deterrent for juvenile delinquency, it is important to keep these youth interested and involved throughout their childhood and adolescence. Often times youth who may not have the talent or the means to play at the top level become discouraged from playing organized football. With a successful minor league organization in their community, our youth may continue to stick with their dreams of playing football for their community and possibly on the national and international level.
